To create is to make a new vision, or to remake is to cause to exist.
What that means is the choice is up to us to choose to create a better world. One of the ways we do this is by the choices we make.
Imagination is the faculty that engineers our imagination into form and function.
When we have something, like a health issue, that we have decided we don’t want, all we have to know is that we’ve been deceived. We might have agreed to an idea, picked it up in an advertisement or had sympathy for someone. Once a person has decided that they are not in ease about the disease, they see it for what it is... a false idea. We know if we picked it up we can put it down. We only need to release the benefit of illness.
Quimby was a clockmaker who live in the early 1800's. Mary Baker Eddy, leader of the Christian Science movement, was healed by Quimby’s work. Quimby discovered he could help others to make contact with divine Wisdom, which would correct the human errors which he held to be the sources of illness. Our body is plastic to “thought”; our body is that which is the embodiment of human belief. He maintained the Truth is the cure. “Disease is not disease, disease is an effect showing in the body.” Quimby.
To create better world we know to experience or see disease as a symptom, a pain, a dysfunction in the body.
Does negativity or pain get its energy from gratitude and spiritual understanding?
We know beliefs manifest or express automatically, without our conscious knowledge. Most of the time we do not detect the connection, the cause within ourselves and therefore suppose it to be outside.
Science says our reaction to thought and attitude turns into chemical messengers (hormones) that circulate through our body. Thus, in our reasoning process our body becomes a ‘mirror of our mind.’To get our health back, we must reason a different way.
We must give the process the opportunity to prove itself.
We learn, in healing ourselves, it is not a matter of getting, it is a matter of becoming. To create a better world we must reconnect to our Source of all Good, reconnect to our divine inner Self. Mary Baker Eddy, founder of Christian Science tells us “God is all. God is omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient good; as Life, Truth, Love, Substance, Intelligence. “
God is all in many different forms. Just look around this room and see the wonderful expressions of love included in this space. God is ever present as life in each of us.
In Scientific Christian Mental practice, Emma Curtis Hopkins, tells us, “I am my own idea of God, and I live and move and have my being according to my idea of God."
" I am spirit, mind, like my God, and shed abroad wisdom, strength holiness. My God works through me to will and to do that which ought to be done by me. I am governed by the True God and am kept from suffering, fear, sickness or death.”
God is omnipotent. All Power! Which has more power? Dwelling in sadness, anxiety, fear or knowing we can walk free from common law as Emma C. Hopkins tells us. We dwell in Good which is present with us, right here and right now.
I invite you to remake or create a better world for yourself while you are here. The choice is up to us. Imagination is the faculty that engineers our imagination into form and function. In other words, our perception of life is mirrored partly in our physical body.
I have found over the years that being able to reason with myself, being able to be the I AM to the best of my ability keeps me whole, complete and healthy.
Let’s fasten our best true statements in reason as we pray. There is good for me and I ought to have it. My good is my God, my life, my Truth, my love, my substance, my intelligence. God is omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient.
I now turn to the Divine center within me, recognizing the Presence and the Power and the activity of the Living Spirit.
I affirm that my word is the activity of the Law of Good. Without effort or strain, but in a relaxed acceptance, I permit this to be so.
I announce that the Law of Good, governed by Divine Intelligence, is active in all my affairs.
I declare that everything in my life now comes under the control of this Intelligence which prospers and harmonizes all things.
I affirm that God is creatively active in all my experiences. As I listen I quietly accept the manifestation of my good.
